1155 and 1300 Digital Weight Indicators

Specially engineered for onboard use, the 1155 and 1300 digital indicators are versatile displays designed to suit all H.G.V.s. In addition the 1300 combines a weight indicator with a rear view monitor for safety. This versatile indicator is suitable for a wide range of truck applications and uses a TFT touch screen to navigate through the available options.

AxleWatch

Axle weights are displayed, alerting the driver to any axle overload infringement.

Mounting Versatility

The 1155 is suitable for DIN radio mount, dash mount or trailer mount. The 1300 is dash mount only.

Packer Plate Shutdown

For full control the packer plate shutdown system is linked to net or gross payload making sure overloading is prevented.

Key Switch

Where the packer plate shutdown option is used, an override key switch allows the compaction unit to be switched back on by an authorised person.

Barrier Control

Rear axles are susceptible to overloading. The intelligent barrier system within the 1155 drives the barrier and load forward to a safe position when the rear axles are near to maximum loading.

CANbus is used extensively by the truck manufacturers as a versatile electronic system for vehicle management. Controller Area Network is a state-of-the-art method used to carry electronic information between electronic devices.Every few milliseconds the self-diagnostic signal pulses around the onboard weighing system immediately detecting and displaying any problems. This means load cells can be grouped into pairs or sets to determine the exact position of the weight, giving load distribution information.

Systems for 4, 6 or 8 Wheel Vehicles

Vishay PM Onboard WasteWeigh systems incorporate load cells positioned between the container/body and the vehicle chassis. Weight loaded onto the vehicle is displayed by the in-cab digital indicator and is represented by tare, gross and payload information. Printer options provide individual ticket printouts of loaded weight and delivered weight.

Telemetry

GPRS

General Packet Radio Service is a packet-based, wireless communication service for passing data over the mobile phone network. It has become known as ‘always-on data connection’ for GSM mobile phones. It sends packets of data collected by the equipment on the truck, back to base in ‘real time’. It can also be used for voice communications between the vehicle and base.

GPS

Global Positioning System lets the system know where the truck is physically located and can be displayed back at the base on electronic web mapping. Web-based vehicle tracking is more cost effective than user-specific maps and can be accessed by any PC linked to the internet.
